Axel

Axel is designed for developers who run multiple AI coding agents in parallel. It provides a shared task queue where work can be prioritized and dispatched to different agents, while each task can run in an isolated Git worktree and persistent tmux session. Axel includes a centralized approval inbox for agent requests to edit files, execute commands or make API calls, allowing developers to approve, deny or automatically approve defined operations. It also provides portable skills that can be shared across supported agents, project-level AXEL.md configuration, token and cost tracking, keyboard-driven workflows and persistent sessions. The companion CLI provides workspace, agent, session and Git worktree management.
