Takeoffs. Estimates. Invoices. Built better.

CostLogic is an AI-powered construction estimating platform that connects PDF plan takeoffs, quantity measurement, estimates, job costing, and invoicing in one browser-based workflow.

What is CostLogic?

CostLogic is a browser-based construction takeoff, estimating, and invoicing platform designed for estimators, contractors, builders, and construction teams.

The platform starts with construction plan PDFs. Users can upload multi-page drawings, automatically name pages, detect the drawing scale from title blocks, and measure quantities directly on plans.

CostLogic provides precision takeoff tools for linear, area, count, and angle measurements, with scale calibration and markup capabilities. Its Auto Room feature can automatically identify rooms and areas from construction drawings and convert those detections into takeoff layers.

Measured quantities flow directly into estimates, eliminating the need to manually re-enter measurements. Estimate line items can include markup, waste, tax, and deposits, while the built-in Onyx AI assistant can help draft estimates, answer job-related questions, and edit takeoff layers.

Once an estimate is approved, CostLogic can convert it into an invoice, generate a branded PDF, email it to the customer, and track outstanding payments. Customer records remain available inside the platform for future projects.

The platform also provides CSV export for estimates and invoices, including compatibility with workflows where accountants use QuickBooks for bookkeeping.

CostLogic is intentionally focused on the workflow from construction plans to payment rather than attempting to become a full construction ERP. Its core proposition is keeping measurement, pricing, estimating, and billing connected in a single workflow.
