What is KeepFlash?
KeepFlash is a personal knowledge library designed for people who regularly collect information from the web and need to find, understand, connect, and reuse it later. Instead of functioning as a simple bookmark manager, KeepFlash preserves readable source content alongside the original URL. Users can save webpages, PDFs, YouTube videos, files, images, selected passages, and their own notes into one searchable workspace. The platform combines capture, retrieval, organization, annotation, and AI assistance in a single workflow. A browser extension lets users save webpages directly while browsing, while PDFs can be uploaded and annotated and YouTube videos can be stored with available transcripts and chapters. Search goes beyond titles and URLs. KeepFlash supports keyword and, on paid plans, hybrid/semantic search across saved page content, notes, PDF text, and video context. AI-assisted organization is built into the library. KeepFlash can suggest tags while preferring existing user-created tags. The platform also provides Topic Pages through Auto Wiki. KeepFlash includes a block-based editor for creating and editing notes with bidirectional links. PDF workflows are supported through highlighting and annotations. YouTube video notes can retain transcript and chapter information. A key feature is source-grounded AI. Users can open a saved note or Topic Page and ask questions using that material as context. KeepFlash also provides AI-agent access through MCP. The service is offered as a hosted web application with a browser extension workflow.
