What is Straion?
Straion is a governance layer for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot. It allows engineering organizations to convert architecture decisions, security requirements, compliance requirements and coding standards into structured, version-controlled rules. During an AI coding task, Straion determines which rules are relevant based on factors such as repository, team, technology stack and change type, supplies those rules to the coding agent, validates the agent's implementation plan before code is written, and re-checks the resulting changes. Rules can be imported from existing files such as AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md or maintained in a connected Git repository. Straion is designed to complement rather than replace AI coding tools and focuses specifically on governance, consistency, compliance and reducing AI-generated-code rework.
